Zero-Emission Trucks are here: time to get the framework conditions right

“Making transport and mobility carbon neutral: that is really the challenge of our times, of our days.” At IAA Transportation 2022 in Hanover, Sigrid de Vries witnessed the most recent developments made by truck manufacturers to contribute to the goal of reaching climate neutrality.

“Plenty of truck models on show are either already in production or will be in production soon,” de Vries adds. “Vehicles are not the issue, it is about framework conditions: infrastructure, carbon pricing, making the market ready, and now getting these vehicles on the roads,” de Vries concludes.
